Danny Shaban, MD Board-certified OB/GYN & Laparoscopic Surgeon

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Shaban is the Founder and President of Dominion Women’s Health. A Board-certified OB/GYN, he’s also the Director of Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery for Intuitive Surgical Epicenter, and the Director of Richmond’s Epicenter training for Robotic Surgery nationally. Thomas Mead, MD Board-certified OB/GYN & Laparoscopic Surgeon

Dr. Mead is a Board-certified OB/GYN and a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2003, he joined Dr. Shaban at Dominion Women’s Health after spending two and half years in Wellsville, NY where he chaired the hospital’s OB/GYN department. Bialines Espinosa, MD Board-certified OB/GYN & Laparoscopic Surgeon

Raymonda Barbour Ryce, MD Board-certified OB/GYN & Laparoscopic Surgeon

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Raymonda Barbour Ryce, has returned to our area after completing her medical training and enlistment in the Armed Forces. She is a Board-certified, fellowship-trained OB/GYN, offering the full spectrum of women’s healthcare. A veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Dr. Ryce completed her service in the Army as an OB/Gyn. During her residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland, she was a chief resident, recognized for excellence in teaching, and for her research in obstetrics. And, you have the support of a team of office pros who greet you when you arrive, schedule your appointments, and help coordinate your services. Working behind the scenes are knowledgeable professionals from those who manage your medical records securely to our associates who work with your insurance plans.

We are proud to serve surrounding areas of Richmond with our 4 convenient locations which means there is an office close to you. If you live in Richmond, Henrico, Wyndham or Short Pump, visit us at our West End office near Henrico Doctor’s Hospital. For areas south of the river including Chesterfield, Powhatan, Midlothian, Bon Air & Brandermill neighborhoods, our southside location is located off of 288 across from Westchester Commons. North of Richmond such as Glen Allen, Ashland, King William, and Sandston will find our Mechanicsville office closest across from Bon Secours Memorial Regional Hospital. Our Saint Stephens Church office will be the perfect choice if you live in the Northern Neck region near Tappahannock.
We have four convenient locations to serve you. As a leader in women’s health providers in Richmond, Virginia, our locations span a broad area covering Mechanicsville, Richmond’s West End (Henrico), Midlothian, and Tappahannock Region.
New patients & urgent appointments are seen within 48 hours with the first available physician, certified nurse midwife, physician assistant or nurse practitioner. However, same day appointments may be available. For immediate appointments, please call so we can arrange a time that works for you. You may also schedule appointments through your individualized patient portal. Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Our last appointment for the day is 4:15 pm. Some locations may have different appointment hours.
