When you first meet Colene, her New England accent may stand out. Although she was transplanted to Richmond many years ago, Colene has kept her accent as well as her desire to help females develop and lead healthy lives. Her background as a RN for many years, instilled an underlying passion of helping her patients achieve healthy goals, no matter how small of a step it is, in the right direction. She enjoys spending time with her patients listening & educating on the needs of the individual to address problems and concerns related to each specific need. Colene performs many services that physicians provide such as: annual exams with adolescence as well as mature women, contraception counseling, maternity care (excluding delivery), as well as STI testing and counseling. She is trained in BHRT and is excited to help women, from 30-90, feel better with bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.

In addition to treating women’s health concerns, Colene also performs advanced procedures at DWH Health & Wellness Medical Spa. She has training in cosmetic injectables including *Botox^® Cosmetic to treat fine lines around the eyes and forehead as well as *Juvederm^® for plumper lips & cheeks and reduced appearance of lines around the mouth.

New and current patients are welcome to schedule appointments with Colene at offices located in Tappahannock and Mechanicsville.  Colene Smith accepts most insurances including employer plans with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare. Medicare and Medicaid plans are also welcome. Appointments are typically available within 72 hours and same day appointments may be available. Please have your insurance card ready when scheduling an appointment.
