Dr. Mead is a Board-certified OB/GYN and a Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2003, he joined Dr. Danny Shaban at Dominion Women’s Health after spending two and half years in Wellsville, NY where he chaired the hospital’s OB/GYN department. While there, he earned their prestigious Compassionate Physician Award two years in a row as well as 2018 Best Bedside Manner Honorable Mention in OurHealth Richmond.

Dr. Mead provides a thorough approach to each woman’s health to assist in leading happy and healthy lives. He is passionate about caring for pregnancy and enjoys seeing his patients transition through all stages of life while helping every step of the way. As a surgeon, he is experienced in using da Vinci Ⓡ Robotics for gynecology procedures. In the office, Dr.Mead performs procedures to remove fibroids, endometrial ablations, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, and vaginal dryness treatment with MonaLisa Touch. When he’s not working, Dr. Mead enjoys boating and fishing, music, and spending time with his wife, and their children.
